Morning all, Dear Resident, Business SEGRO Logistics Park Radlett | Park Street Roundabout essential upgrade works Our contractors STRABAG and Galldris will be conducting essential upgrade works on the Park Street Roundabout. These works are being delivered under the direction of Hertfordshire County Council Highways, and National Highways, who are responsible for approving road space bookings, timings, traffic management plans and diversion routes. The works require a complete overhaul and remodelling of the highways which can only be delivered with extensive peak, off-peak and night time traffic management and working. During some of the night time working it will be necessary to close certain arms of the roundabout to allow the construction and for the safety of operatives and road users. • Works Commence: Tuesday 7 April 2026. • Duration: 65 weeks • Park Street Roundabout FULL night time closure for traffic management system installation: o 7th, 8th and 9th April 2026 o 8.00pm - 6.00am o Diversion routes in place with appropriate signage o Arrangements will be in place for emergency vehicles Improvements to Park Street Roundabout include: • An additional A405 entry lane • A414 (east arm) exit lane • Additional third circulatory carriageway lane • Signalisation on the A414 and A405 arm. The partial signalisation allows easier access from Park Street and Watling Street onto the roundabout • Improvements to A405 pedestrian crossing • Increased drainage capacity to assist in the prevention of flooding • Upgrades to existing services with coordination with asset stakeholders to reduce work durations and closures There has been a significant amount of planning undertaken for this project and every effort has been made to find a reasonable balance between engineering and construction practicalities and minimising duration and disruption for road users and local residents.
